Both the male and females agreed that you will receive greater respect if you wait. The males said they just really did not respect her as a person because of how fast she was willing to have sex. The longer you wait the better the sex is. Both sexes agreed they have waited in relationships and the sex was a lot better then just jumping right into it. The females said there was a lot more passion involved. The males said the build up and excitement was amazing.

Shelter

The safety issue is if you jump into sex with someone too fast and not know their mental stability problems could arise. Men and women said that they had experiences where they had a one night stand or had sex extremely early in theadult singles relationship and they ended up being stalked or harassed.

Love or lust

Lust really clouds your judgment with someone. I know lust still exists even when you do not have sex but when you do have sex it really can confuse people. Some people all they do is have sex the first 6 months of their relationship then the spark dies and reality hits. The whole time they were just in lust and there was no love just another notch. When you are with someone that long it is a lot harder to cut ties. So I do believe that if the first 6 months was based on getting to know one another and not sex that you may not waste 6 months you might figure out in 1 or 2 months. You could actually save yourself a lot of time and heartache.

From what I have learned from people that 6 months is a good waiting interlude for sex. I know some people are just after sex and that is it but I do think that those people should make sure that the otheronline dating person feels the same way. If you are a teenager you should wait till your married.
The main thing that can be learned is that no matter what you need respect and trust in a relationship. If you can not gain it by having sex early on in relationships then you might want to try a new game plan. If someone does not respect that then you need to move on.
